What does Velora make?
We design, make and install custom joinery for Sydney homes and small businesses. That covers kitchens, built-in and walk-in wardrobes, bathroom vanities, laundries, home offices and shelving, butler's pantries, entertainment units and general cabinetry, plus commercial and architectural joinery. We coordinate stone benchtops, and licensed plumbers, electricians and gasfitters handle the connections.
How long does custom joinery take in Sydney?
Most projects take around 4–8 weeks from design approval to installation, depending on the materials and scope. Kitchen installation usually takes a few days. We’ll confirm your timeframe when preparing your quote.
How much does a custom kitchen cost in Sydney?

Is the consultation and measure really free?
Yes. We visit, talk through how you use the space, measure and take photos at no cost. From there we prepare a 3D concept and a written, itemised quote. You only commit when you sign off the drawings and the price, and nothing is ordered or made before that.
Is custom joinery better than flat-pack?
Flat-pack is cheaper and fine for a rental or a simple square room. Custom joinery is built to your actual measurements, so it fills awkward walls and ceilings, uses better board and hardware, and is scribed tight to walls. It usually costs more up front but lasts longer and makes better use of the space.
Do you coordinate plumbers, electricians and stone benchtops?
Yes. We make and install the cabinetry and hardware, and book and coordinate the licensed plumbers, electricians and gasfitters the job needs. Stone or porcelain benchtops are templated by a specialist fabricator once the base cabinets are fitted. You deal with one contact person for the whole project.
Which parts of Sydney do you cover?
We work across the greater Sydney metro, with regular work in the North Shore, Eastern Suburbs, Inner West, Northern Beaches, Hills District, and the CBD and Inner South. Travel within these areas is included. If you're outside them, tell us your suburb and we'll confirm.
